Viacom’s Hypocrisy

If you frequently visit Youtube and observe what videos are the most popular, you’ve probably already seen this super-long video:

Yeah, you only have to watch a quarter of it to get the point there. But anyway, IS VIACOM CRAZY?!!! Just re-uploading a bunch of viral videos without giving credit to the original creators?

And at the same time, they go against Youtube, complaining about all of their crud that’s on there.

I really do not understand how a big corporation like Viacom could be so incredibly stupid. And lame. JUST PLAIN LAME!

Viacom ought to be in trouble for this madness. They may not be stealing from billionaires, but they are stealing, make no mistake about that.

A few things:

  1. Who the crap is USING that Spike site?!!
  2. Did Viacom hire a bunch of 12-year-olds to work on that site? Because I think that an adult ought to know about those things called copyright laws.
  3. Don’t they have enough of their own content to fill up a website? I mean, forget video sharing! Everyone’s obviously using Youtube for that. That site might be useful if I could watch TV on it!
  4. There’s a big difference between some random Youtube user taking Viacom’s stuff, and Viacom taking some random Youtube user’s stuff. As you saw in the video, those videos were put on there by actual employees. So, again, major hypocrisy is found in Viacom.

I’m mad. And you should be too.

Well, that’s about all for now. I think I shall leave you with some Youtube videos. They are completely irrelevant to this post. Muwahahaha!

*sniff* I love these videos.
