New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Yeah so this is only the second real post, but we’re already going to talk about a video game. And one that’s no less than Wii’s biggest game this holiday season.  It’s New Super Mario Bros. Wii, of course.

I’m pretty psyched for this.  I mean, playing Super Mario Bros. multiplayer looks incredibly fun.  But what’s with the people who wish there was online multiplayer for this?  That doesn’t sound like fun to me.  This doesn’t really seem like the type of game that would work too well for online.  It’s better off just playing with the people next to you.  But then again, we’ll never know.  Anyway, I can always joke and say that the people who want online multiplayer have no real friends.  Muwahahaha.

Oh, and what’s also cool is that sources tell me that this game is hard.  I doubt that it’s quite as hard as the original 2D ones.  But hard nonetheless. So to make it all casual and stuff (cause apparently Nintendo has to do that for everything these days) they have added a couple of features.  If you’re having some serious trouble, while your friend is just cruising along, you can enter a bubble that floats along, while you let your friend take care of the hard part.  But in case these casual gamers–well, not necessarily–I suppose anyone might have trouble with the game.  But anyway, in case people are playing by themselves and they’re on a seriously hard part, there’s the Super Guide mode.  When you die 8 times, you can activate Super Guide, and that does the level for you.

Well personally, I think it’s a good idea.  ‘Cause you can make the game hard without scaring people away.  And you don’t have to use the Super Guide.  Mr. Miyamoto said that there is some sort of reward thing for not using it the whole game.  Or something.

So anyway, I’m so gettin’ this.  And next year Nintendo is putting out Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid Other M. Ohhhh boy!

Speaking of those games, I think I will now post about them.
